The elaborated design covers human beings' ways of living together, as well as their needs and tasks during quarantine.
The building consists of 5 blocks and 1 annex, offering social solidarity kitchen activities, home office, studies, library and physical activities. So, how will these blocks work?
The solidarity social kitchen will serve people from the local area who want to donate and prepare food for local families who were left destitute during this pandemic. Through 4 partitions, each separated by glass walls, will contain stoves and cabinets for preparation and storage. Local workers will also be able to publicize their work in this area.
The "home office" will be a space for those people who were forced to work inside the house and had little preparation for it, therefore, to provide focus, tranquility and productivity, the environment will contain computers and free access to the small library collection. There will be 4 glass partitions with the same characteristics as components, providing visibility, but without physical contact.
The library will be a common room, without any partition, however more open and ventilated. It will contain a small collection of books from all areas to assist workers, students and any audience that needs what it can offer.
The study area will serve students who do not have a space reserved for home studies, or do not have internet, a printer, books and / or a desk, which are elements that help too much in their studies. All 4 partitions, in addition to the isolation and visibility with glass, also have contact with nature and silence.
In the area of leisure, rest and relaxation, people can walk, play sports, walk with a pet and have a more open and ventilated environment, for those who want another space besides their own home during isolation. It is accessible via the large ramp, being the only block on the top floor of the building.
The annex building contains the reception, which is the first contact for records, collection of donations and questions about health; the screening carried out by a health technician will carry out an examination of fever and antibodies, offering the visitor a sense of his health condition; and the administration, which will be the sector without contact with visitors, but who will have contact with donations and their cleaning, as well as the responsibility of their logistics.
Through the visibility and individuality that glass provides, we maintain interaction, avoid physical contact and contagion. Through the vegetation we give life and sensations to the place.
